Role overview
The role works across PEB and civil project stages with senior engineering guidance, fabrication coordination and construction/site-query support. The role includes: Support dead, live, wind, seismic and temperature load calculations as applicable to project scope. Assist RCC and structural-steel design optimisation for beams, columns, slabs, trusses and footings where applicable. Coordinate AutoCAD/BIM drawings and model/detail inputs with the engineering team. Maintain calculation sheets and technical documentation. Support construction and site queries under senior technical guidance.
Main responsibilities
- Support dead, live, wind, seismic and temperature load calculations as applicable to project scope.
- Assist RCC and structural-steel design optimisation for beams, columns, slabs, trusses and footings where applicable.
- Coordinate AutoCAD/BIM drawings and model/detail inputs with the engineering team.
- Maintain calculation sheets and technical documentation.
- Support construction and site queries under senior technical guidance.
Qualification and experience
Civil Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech with certified STAAD.Pro training and relevant structural/design software familiarity.
0–2 years. Freshers are eligible for a junior/trainee route.
Required skills
Structural-design fundamentals, STAAD.Pro practice, AutoCAD/BIM drawing coordination, calculation-sheet discipline, technical documentation and careful communication.
Other requirements
Relevant structural/design software familiarity and willingness to learn approved engineering standards and workflows. Legal sign-off responsibility is not a mandatory requirement for the fresher route.
